🛣 Tour Overview

Your day begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi residence, hotel, or the airport. We head south through the scenic outskirts of the city, toward the famous Ngong Hills, made iconic in Karen Blixen’s Out of Africa. Along the way, we make a brief stop at the Kona Baridi viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views and capture photos of the breathtaking Great Rift Valley. We then descend into the arid lowlands, arriving mid-morning at the Olorgesailie Prehistoric Site a renowned archaeological site where early human tools and fossils were discovered. Enjoy a guided tour and learn about the region's fascinating prehistoric past.

🌋Explore Lake Magadi

After the tour, we continue our drive through Magadi Town, passing by the Lake Magadi Soda Company, before entering the Lake Magadi Reserve. We proceed to the hot springs, where you’ll enjoy: A refreshing soak in the mineral-rich hot alkaline waters (if temperatures allow). A picnic lunch by the lake Leisurely walks along the salt flats and shoreline Bird watching  including the famous pink flamingos and other waterbirds. Locals believe that the natural hot springs have healing properties, particularly beneficial for skin ailments like eczema and rashes. After a soak, your skin feels soft and smooth,  although it may turn temporarily chalky white from the natural salts.
